Morning Discussion

By Xav de Matos, Oct 07, 2010 5:00am PDT Over the last few days my desktop PC has been acting up. After some troubleshooting, it's working a little better but it's still throwing a wrench into the "work machine."

The situation got me thinking that it might be time for an upgrade. My plan is to buy pieces of a new rig and put it together when I've got some free time. Until then I have to find some good PC hardware deals.

Where do you buy your computer hardware?

Sega EMEA SVP Jurgen Post: "Any Sonic game with an average Metacritic has been de-listed. We have to do this and increase the value of the brand. This will be very important when more big Sonic releases arrive in the future. We could make a lot of money on back-catalogue Sonic titles, but let's keep the number of Sonic games available under control. Otherwise you can have cannibalisation. If there are ten Sonic games on the shelves, with people seeing Sonic Rush DS or Sonic Rush Adventure, this may not help our overall strategy.”

Wow, sounds like someone at Sega heard Ryan Davis' rant back in the February 9th 2010 Bombcast (48 minutes in) about Sega "[spending] more time conning people with bad Sonic the Hedgehog games than they did giving them good Sonic the Hedgehog games."
