Free Red Dead Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack (and Jackalopes) Coming October 12

Rockstar has announced that a free Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack will soon be available for Red Dead Redemption, further expanding the Marston wardrobe while giving players some additional in-game benefits.

Equipping the Savvy Merchant outfit allows Marston to purchase weapons and ammunition for half-price, and donning the Expert Hunter threads doubles the amount of skins and hides received from hunting. Astute fans will notice that these two outfits were the two runners-up in the GameStop Red Dead Referendum Pre-Order fan vote. Sadly, the Deadly Assassin outfit that won the vote remains exclusive to those who pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption from GameStop.

Speaking of hunting, the free update also adds a new animal to the frontier: the wily and elusive Jackalope . You can start cowering in fear any time now.

Red Dead Redemption's free Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack will be available for download from Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network on October 12.

  I hear ya Haxim, I'm almost offended at the dlc being offered. From Quigley Down Under(fun, smart, serious), to the late great americas funniest home videos with bob saget(insert whatever here).
