Shack PSA: 50% off Modern Warfare 2 DLC on Steam

Mirroring the sale currently running on Xbox 360, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's downloadable content is being discounted by 50% on Steam until October 11.

The sale brings the Resurgence Pack and Stimulus Package DLC packs down to the far more reasonable price of $7.49 apiece. Each contains five multiplayer maps--three new and two based upon maps from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

With Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops due out on November 9, publisher Activision is no doubt attempting to spark one last flurry of sales before the multiplayer community starts investigating a move towards the new hotness.

Especially if you add all the free DLC and updates the games in it received.

yeah, makes way more sense it seems to lower the price of the full game, rather than the DLC.
