Scott Pilgrim vs. The World DLC Adds New Modes, Character in November

In an effort to achieve maximum synergy, Ubisoft has announced plans to unleash DLC for its downloadable title Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, alongside the DVD and Blu-ray release of the movie in November.

The content will add a new playable character, Knives Chau, and two new modes, dodgeball and a free-for-all battle arena. Downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World will launch on the PS3 and Xbox 360 for an asking price of $1.99 (160MS Points).

According to Joystiq, a patch will also launch alongside the content, addressing difficulty balancing, various bugs and add drop-in/drop-out co-op. Sadly, neither the patch nor the DLC will add online functionality to the game--an idea we're still trying to wrap our heads around for a four-player game released in 2010.

Only played the demo. Awesome graphics, clunky gameplay. Felt the opposite of smooth.

It gets a lot better when you get your characters levelled up.
