MAG 2.0 Patch Now Available, Adds Move Support

7
The "2.0" patch for Zipper Interactive's MAG is now available, according to the PlayStation Blog. "PlayStation Move support, an increased level cap, our revamped skill tree, the new economy system, and our highly-demanded clan deploy feature" headline the update.

The full patch notes are quite long and can be viewed at the official MAG site. I haven't played the game recently enough to be able to pull out any earth-shattering changes, but I'll probably patch up and check out the game again.

If you try it out, let us know what's new and how it players with Move if you're properly equipped.

Cool mag has move support. Now all I need to do is spend 299 on a PS3, 700+ on a tv, 150 on the move controller and 60+ for Mag and I am all set. Or I can tell Sony to fuck off and i will stick playing Civ V until my eyes bleed. I think I will go with the later. I don't know about you but I really am not hearing anything about the move at all. I didn't realize it even came out.

...then why are you commenting about it? I for one am excited for this patch. I have it over 70% right now and am ready to test out the move patch (along with the laundry list of improvements). Gonna be good times! Go play Civ V, I hear it's a very fun game. Why'd you even stop? Troll much?

I think Mag is a very fun game. I just don't see why slap move onto it.

It was practically a quick one for them. And why not? Hardcore peeps get their fix with a new toy. And...did you check out the update list? Move support is just one of many implementations for Mag 2.0 so I don't get the "why slap..." comment.

Latter is spelled with 2 "t"s, and that was a horrible post.

Can you believe Sony wanted him to purchase a house to put the PS3 in? And a car to go back and forth to work to pay for all of this. Fuck those guys. Thank god Civ V came with a voucher for a a PC which floats down from the sky surrounded by angels.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't MAG just recently added to the "Greatest Hits" list? If so, isn't the game now $29?

Actually I just confirmed that it is $29: http://www.ebgames.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=74388
