Batman Adds 'Interrogation' to his Crime-fighting Resume in Arkham City

Batman's "Detective Mode" is set to get an upgrade in Arkham City, according to the latest issue of UK's PSM3 magazine [via CVG].

Batman: Arkham City director Sefton Hill revealed that the "World's Greatest Detective" will now be able to to scan groups of enemies to spot a potential informant and interrogate the thug for crucial information -- or additional Riddler clues.

"The Riddler continues to taunt the Dark Knight with mind-bending puzzles and exploration challenges," Hill said, "but the location of his biggest secrets are known only to him and people he's told. Rather than unlocking their locations using maps, Batman will be able to scan a gang of thugs to find a potential informant."

The addition gives Batman's "Detective Mode" a new purpose, rather than just washing out the Unreal Engine 3-powered world from developer Rocksteady. Batman: Arkham City is the highly anticipated sequel to the critical and commercial smash-hit Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Rocksteady--now owned by Batman gatekeeper Warner Bros.--is set to deliver Batman: Arkham City on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 in the fall of 2011.

I hope it's done as well as the interrogation in Batman Begins.

Damn, and you are talking about interrogations you weren't forced to do?
