Director Christopher Nolan 'Talking' About a Possible Game Set in the Inception Universe

Although the major highlight of a recent Rome press conference was to announce Warner Bros., to-date, had pulled $753 million worldwide for the feature film Inception, director Christopher Nolan discussed his own dream of spinning the film off into a video game franchise.

Nolan said that "we"--presumably Warner Bros. and his own production company Syncopy Films--are "looking" at developing a video game based on the world of the film, Variety reports. A game entering Inception's dream-like world, which "has all kind of ideas you can't fit into a feature film," according to Nolan, could lead developers down new paths.

But don't run to your local video game shop looking to pre-order "Inception: The Spinoff: The Game" just yet. Nolan says that an Inception game is something that's only being talked about for the moment and is, likely, years away. "That's something we've been talking about and are looking at doing long term, in a couple of years."
