Evening Reading

Got in some major Halo: Reach multiplayer time last night, while also getting Civilization V to run properly due to some lingering configuration issues from having an earlier build on my machine for the review.

Evidence of my Halo has been documented into the digital history books through non-judicious use of Bungie Pro's video rendering tool. You can check out footage of some Arena Doubles, Arena Teams, and our group getting the "Skunked!" achievement in a game of Invasion.

So my sons Birthday is this Sat, i picked up halo Reach of course for him, but i wanted something else not just one present. So i asked him if he would like a Wii and he told me yes. It came in today and i was excited because now i have all his Birthday shopping done.

He comes home from school today and the wife says "go tell your dad what you told me in the car'
I asked him what was up and he tells me "i really don't want a Wii" He tells me he want's Halo Reach so i asked him well what if you had Halo Reach and a Wii. Nope i just want Halo Reach i don't need a Wii.

He is a good kid and i love him to death but i have never ran into a kid who turns downs presents.

      I enjoy other games on it as well, but primarily Nintendo's--and that's fine. Ever since the N64 days, I've purchased Nintendo consoles for Nintendo's games. If other great hits come out, then great; I can play them. But I am otherwise content waiting for Mario and Zelda games that are leaps and bounds more entertaining than most everything else. When I'm done with them, I'll play games on other systems.
      
      No gamer buys a Nintendo console for their only system. It doesn't work that way, it hasn't for three generations, now; and anyone who thinks or says differently is wrong.
