European PlayStation Plus Members Get Early Access to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Demo

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe revealed that PlayStation Plus members will get early access to a demo for the upcoming high-def Castlevania debut.

In a post on the European PlayStation Blog, PlayStation Network Product Manager James Thorpe revealed the demo for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow would be available today for Plus subscribers. The demo will be available for all PlayStation users on September 29.

Shacknews has contacted Konami about a potential North American demo release for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is launching on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 5.

What is Sony trying to do with this new 'Playstation Plus' other then piss off its customer base?

Definitely not a fan of 'early access' for a monthly fee.

  Can't say I blame them. It doesn't strike me as all that different from things like "Buy Crackdown to get access to the Halo beta", which people ate up.
