StarCraft 2 Version 1.1 Patch Notes, Cross-Region Play for SEA Owners

34
The notes for the first StarCraft II features and balance patch have been released and can be found here. I've listed the main balance changes below, though there are additional bug fixes and changes to other aspects of the game.

This patch should also allow players that own the English language version of the game in the "SEA" region (Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand) to play on the North American Battle.net servers. Thankfully, no additional client will have to be downloaded as the region switching functionality has been built into the 1.1 client.

Sadly, the balance changes appear to be limited to what was discussed in the Situation Report at the end of August. Many players, myself included, were hoping for additional changes. I'm considering playing Random... or Terran. I'm a bit bored with Protoss now.

[Update 2:00PM] The patch is now live. Simply launch StarCraft II to start downloading.

Uh just because you're from Korea and play starcraft doesn't mean you eat, breath and sleep SC. They are dominated by casual gamers just as the USA is. It's like if Korea just picked up Quake 3 or some other FPS and said the same thing about Americans.
