Rumor: Downloadable Odin Sphere and Muramasa Ports Incoming

1
According to "sources in Japan" speaking with 1UP, Vanillaware plans to release "downloadable ports" of its two cult-fave titles Odin Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade.

Although the report does not specify platform for either supposed port, 1UP presumes the games would be released on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network as "high-definition" ports of the original titles.

In reporting the rumor, Joystiq discovered that both titles are now listed as "multiplatform" releases by Australia's ratings board, the OFLC; however, neither game has ever been released on multiple platforms. Odin Sphere was released on the PS2 in 2007, while Muramasa: The Demon Blade launched exclusively on the Wii in 2009.

Although this is only a rumor at the moment and should be taken with a grain of salt, we're just going to go ahead and say it in case anyone important is reading: Yes, please.
