Ninja Gaiden 3 Announced

6
During a private dinner event in Tokyo, publisher Tecmo Koei announced Ninja Gaiden 3 is currently in development at Team Ninja.

According to GamePro, the project is "so early in development" the team only showed off a single piece of concept art.

The art is meant to both tease the title and reveal Team Ninja's new direction for the series, VideoGamer says. Ninja Gaiden 3 will still be the blood-soaked romp players have come to expect, but it will also delve into the "human side" of main protagonist Ryu Hayabusa.

Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi said more information on the project will be unleashed early next year. Platforms have not been revealed but we're holding out hope for an iPad-exclusive.
