by Brian Leahy, Sep 13, 2010 4:12pm PDTJust a heads-up that pre-order customers for Civilization V on Steam can start pre-loading the game ahead of the title's September 21 release date.
I recently went hands-on with the game's multiplayer and Garnett has offline impressions from August.
Standard ($50) and Digital Deluxe ($60) editions are available to pre-order and a demo should be released on the same day as the full game. Retail versions will require Steam as the game utilizes Steamworks.
2K Games has also streamed and archived around 2 hours of playtime in the game, which can be viewed here .
