Dead Space 2 Multiplayer Revealed to be Humans Versus Necromorphs
by Brian Leahy, Sep 13, 2010 3:00pm PDTGameTrailers has revealed Dead Space 2's multiplayer component, which appears to borrow heavily from Left 4 Dead's formula, pitting humans against Necromorphs.
The human players in the video appear to be tasked with completing objectives, while the Necromorph players attempt to chew some throats. The humans get weapons from the singleplayer game and even retain the ability to slow enemies with the Stasis ability.
The video is embedded below for your enjoyment. I guess that's what the Left 4 Dead Hunter looks like without his hoodie. Come on, EA... that's pretty blatant.

Since when did deriving a multiplayer model from a successful game become blatant copying? While this doesn't look all that fun, I'm not really rolling my eyes here.
