Massive Oblivion Mod 'Nehrim' English Translation Released
by Alice O'Connor, Sep 13, 2010 9:00am PDTA whole new world has arrived for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in the much-anticipated English translation of the colossal total conversion Nehrim: At Fate's Edge, which was released over the weekend and is available from FileShack.

Described as "one of the world's most extensive total conversions" for Oblivion, Nehrim is set in an entirely new world with no connection to Oblivion or The Elder Scrolls. The new world and story boast an estimated fifty hours of playtime with over sixty quests, also including a new soundtrack and a vocal cast of 56 professional voice actors.
Unfortunately, as the mod was created by a German team, you'll have to make do with German voices and English subtitles but surely that's better than a sub par dub, yes?
Chatty: Diablo III, Dragon's Dogma
FileShack: Unity of Command, Skyjacker
Daily Filter: Planetside 2, Deadlight
Weekend PC digital deals: strategy-o-rama
38 Studios, Harry Potter Kinect - Shacknews Daily: May 25, 2012

I thoroughly enjoyed shooting the bucket in the well, and watching it tip with the weight of the arrows =]
But the FPS Sword Play was soooo bad, I just couldn't play after that first tower =/

I played it a bit yesterday, it took awhile to get it work, there are some real road block that will keep kicking you in the nutz..
VERY important to get it to work :
* do in order *
- install the mod after you downloaded it
- back up you save folder then delete all saves from reg oblivion
- make sure you fire up you regular Oblivion first and un check all mods
- copy the two mod files that are in the new installed folder of the mod and copy the Nehrim[something].esp 2 files like normal mods for Oblivion and copy to your original Oblivion root folder with other mods.
- Run your original oblivion game and select/enable the two mods that you just copied, cancel game.
-ready- Now you can go and play the mod(run the mods launcher) if you do not do these steps you will NEVER be able to play the game. Took me a bit to figure this out but it works.
Will post impression tommrow, did not have enough time to play it last night since I got it working late.
I think I needed to get lost in a good RPG.
