Def Jam Rapstar Adds Busta Rhymes, DMX, and More

Def Jam Rapstar will be bringing tracks from the likes of Busta Rhymes, DMX, Lil Jon, Fat Joe, and Ja Rule when it releases on October 5 in the US.

Three new producers have also been announced with tracks making their way into the game. They are Bangladesh ("Gutter"), DJ Premier ("Go Back"), and Just Blaze ("8 Bit"). The songs added from the artists mentioned above are:

  • Busta Rhymes - "Put Your Hand's Where My Eyes Can See"
  • DMX - "Ruff Ryder's Anthem"
  • Fat Joe featuring Terror Squad - "Lean Back"
  • Ja Rule featuring Ashanti - "Always on Time"
  • Lil' Jon - "Get Low"
  • Bashy - "Black Boys" (UK exclusive)
  • Devlin - "Giant" (UK exclusive)
Pretty good list. As a fan of the hip-hop, I might be checking this game out when it launches. Might as well get some more use out of all my microphones sitting around waiting for Rock Band 3.
