NBA Jam Eastern Conference Roster Revealed

9
ESPN has revealed the entire NBA Jam Eastern Conference roster, which was determined by fan voting.

The reveal also uncovers the legendary NBA players set to be included in the game, including Larry Bird and Julius "Dr. J" Erving. Because of his prominent feature role in NBA 2K11, Michael Jordan will not appear in the upcoming arcade basketball revival.

Each team will include 3-4 active players, along with one or more "legends." For teams without a proper legend in their history, EA has added the team's official mascot giving Toronto fans ample opportunity to dunk with a dinosaur.

As expected, late summer transactions are not reflective in the game's roster. Although we presume changes may be made to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, the Nintendo Wii version of the NBA Jam revival does not support any online modes making the possibility of a patch difficult to expect.

ESPN weighed in on the selections, discussing notable omissions and revealed the Western Conference would be announced next Tuesday. NBA Jam is scheduled to launch on October 5 for the Nintendo Wii and as a downloadable bonus with new copies of NBA Elite 11 for Xbox 360 and PS3.

I was a Jordan fan when I was a kid, but I am so sick of this dude. No one is rushing out to buy games because your in it. No one's not buying games anymore because your not in it.
    stop being a arrogant prick.
Thanks for telling me no when I saw you on the street in Daytona and asked for an autograph. (haha)

What makes you think it's anything he even has an opinion about?

EA will probably make Jordan a DLC character in the future...

Jordan has a deal with 2K to be a featured player in NBA2K11. I'm sure he won't be showing up in an EA game.
