Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath Remade for PlayStation 3
by Alice O'Connor, Sep 03, 2010 6:27am PDTOddworld Inhabitants' Xbox exclusive Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is being revamped for release on PlayStation 3 next year by Gravity Crash developer Just Add Water.
The remake of the celebrated bounty hunting title will have, JAW says, "stunning 720p visuals; much more detail in the characters; normal mapping and self-shadowing; re-mastered dialogue, support for PlayStation Move; and additional bonus material still to be revealed," while remaining "faithful to the original moolah-chasing epic."
In 2009, Oddworld Inhabitants promised that Stranger's Wrath and its fellow Xbox exclusive Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee would be ported to PC in a series collection dubbed the 'Oddbox.' Oddworld affirmed in April 2010 that the pair would see release on Steam this year, though a planned new Oddworld title had been put "on the shelf."
The PlayStation 3 remake of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath will be released for download via the PlayStation Network "next Easter," which will fall in late April 2011.

In other words enough time had passed in their collective minds that folks should either a) stop bitching and buy new stuff or b) M$ felt that what they had done was good enough of a good faith effort.
Too bad no one bother to ask the gamers what games they actually wanted to play from their old collection.
I waited forever for this game to be BC, instead I got a "fuck you very much" from M$.
Thanks for the hook up Sony!
So here is the question, is the PC version not a remake as well or is it strictly a port with nothing added and the PS3 version is the only one that is adding the new trimmings?
