GTA: Chinatown Wars HD Coming to iPad September 9

Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is making its way to iPad soon, in a graphically-updated, high-definition version of the game that was previously released for the DS, PSP, iPhone, and iPod touch.

The HD iPad version will include the same features developed specifically for the previous iPhone and iPod touch versions, including different difficulty modes, the iTunes customizable radio station (Independence Radio), and full Multi Touch interface controls.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD hits the App Store on September 9 for $9.99.

Really? This will make it past Apple's censors? More and more when I think of Apple I think of "California Uber Alles" Except you have to put Steve Jobs in the place of Jerry brown and Apple in the place of California. Unfortunately, it doesn't roll off the tongue the same way because of the number of syllables. But I think the comment more or less still works. /rant

Back when this came to the iPhone, I realized I never got it for the DS, which it was initially designed for, so I went and rectified that.

I've now played more of this game than any other GTA game. I'm not even sure how to get back on the main storyline/quest because I'm having so much fun getting rich as a drug dealer.

Good to hear. It was supposed to come out earlier in the summer but didn't so I was afraid the ipad version might have been shelved.
