Apache: Air Assault Landing in November
by Alice O'Connor, Aug 31, 2010 6:32am PDTApache: Air Assault publisher Activision has pinned the helicopter combat sim's "fall" release date down to November 9 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Coming from by IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey developer Gaijin Entertainment, Air Assault packs "16 multi-stage missions" in such exotic locales as Central American jungle and the mountains of Central Asia. You'll get to shoot things there, naturally.
It apparently "aims to be as realistic as possible," with "simulation controls" and environments based upon "real-world satellite photography." There's also local co-op letting a pal be your co-pilot, who you should certainly sit behind for maximum realism.
