Tron: Evolution Releasing Dec 7, Collectors' Edition Features Light Cycle Model

Tron fans, if you've got $130 (in North America at least), Disney Interactive has a Collectors' Edition of its upcoming Tron: Evolution game that includes a light cycle model created by Sideshow Collectibles.

The light cycle also comes in a protective display case that has a drawer to hold the game. The package will be available in both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions at launch, which Disney also revealed. Tron: Evolution will release on December 7, coming some ten days before the new film Tron: Legacy arrives in theaters on December 17. The game fills in the story that connects this new movie to the original 1982 classic.

Looks neat. Would be better if it lit up like the Tron controllers coming out.

Then again, the controllers would be better if they were not wired (Xbox/PS3).

    I can't be satisfied today.

This movie will hopefully spawn all kinds of high-quality 1/6th scale Lightcycles. I can't wait to have one of those on my shelf.

And I fuckin' pray to Zeus that this movie doesn't bomb like Speedracer did. Although, that movie looked like someone vomited light and cheezy dialogue all over the screen... still, I can't help but feel sorry for the 8 billion toys that were made and none of them sold.
