Thieves and card sharks prepare because new Red Dead Redemption DLC catered to your unsavory ways will launch late next month.

Rockstar Games has revealed that the "Liars and Cheats" downloadable content for its open-world Western is coming on September 21 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 for $9.99 and 800 Microsoft Points, respectively.

The new content "focuses on expanding the Free Roam multiplayer experience" of the best-selling title, as well as add new modes to competitive multiplayer.

The "Liars and Cheats" DLC will also include the content previously announced as the "Free Roam Pack." According to Rockstar, the free roam content was intended as a separate, and free, downloadable pack; however, "due to the platform networks' restrictions on numbers of free packs we can give away" the content was added to this DLC release.

    Liars and Cheats DLC features:
  • Multiplayer Poker and Liars' Dice Games
  • Multiplayer Horse Races
  • Explosive Rifle Weapon (with new single and multiplayer challenges)
  • 7 New Gang Hideouts
  • 4 New Hunting Grounds
  • Stronghold Competitive Multiplayer Mode (Attack/Defend Style)
  • Posse Scoring and Leaderboards
  • 15 additional multiplayer characters from the Red Dead Redemption storyline
  • All-new Achievements and Trophies.

Additonally, Rockstar revealed the next DLC pack, the "Undead Nightmare," will feature a "mostly single-player" campaign "that follows John Marston as he tries to find a cure for the highly infectious zombie plague that has spread across the frontier."

In the next few weeks, Rockstar promises to release a free "Hunting and Trading Outfits" pack, adding new apparel and challenges to the game. There is also plans to add "special compatibility" to the game so online users who have not forked over money for previous DLC will be able to see purchased multiplayer skins.
