Halo: Reach Live Action Video Compels You To 'Remember'
by Xav de Matos, Aug 24, 2010 10:45am PDTMicrosoft continues its tactic of using live-action short films to promote the Halo brand. For Halo: Reach a new series has been developed, titled "Remember Reach." The video features groups of people as they discuss their uncertain future on a planet they don't yet know is doomed.
Additionally, the viral site RememberReach.com houses a robotic-arm -- typically used in the development of motor vehicles -- plotting 54,000 points via user-generated algorithms to sculpt Reach's Noble Team out of light. As users register on the site via Facebook, it will signal the bot to add a new light point to the sculpture. Halo: Reach launches on September 14 for the Xbox 360. (But as long as they didn't put the word 'unobtainium' in their actual script they're doing okay.)
