Evening Reading
by Brian Leahy, Aug 23, 2010 5:00pm PDTOver the weekend, I posted that I had "cheesed" my first opponent in StarCraft II. I had been on a losing streak and needed a win for my precious self-esteem. I had been the victim of the very build I used a week earlier and put it into action against an unsuspecting opponent. It felt dirty... but glorious at the same time.
Is this a slippery slope I find myself on? You can grab the replay here.
I'm off tomorrow and Wednesday on assignment, while Alice is on holiday. Be nice to Xav!

Elemental: War of Magic
For everyone that isn't busy playing.. How do you make a farm? :(
I'm trying to research Agriculture, but do I need a specific unit to create farms?
Otherwise, it seems ok so far. Still only 25 turns in.

I'll move what I said here:
Played all evening (7PM to 11:30PM)
Started a new game, have three cities rocking. At war with some douche. He sent a big army at me, I gathered a bigger army. Unit creation is the tits. Tactical combat is fun. City expansion, upgrades are pretty sweet. I'm hoping the post release updates (including tomorrows Day-0 Patch) will bring more players in to this one.
Some video tutorials are up

Day 0 Patch incoming as in like within the next few hours. Lots of fixes there. I would recommend sticking this game out because I think it's going to improve quite a bit, especially once some documentation starts floating around.
