Max Payne Shots

These shots look mad ... hope it plays as well as it looks :)

I wonder much time these guys spent collecting all their textures (unless they're from some commercial texturelib.)

It does look nice... but the 'contrast' between the realistic looking player textures and the background is a bit edgy.

The Matrix is nothing more than a rip-off of the movie Ghost in the Shell. Has anyone seen it? It's got the black suit government agents, the plugging into the head, the martial arts, everything. I liked the Matrix, a lot, but when I saw Ghost in the Shell I was appauled by how much was stolen by the Matrix. BTW, Ghost in the Shell is an anime movie that came out many years ago.

Point of parlimentary procedure: Even if Max was in production before The Matrix doesn't necessarily mean that they didn't add the effect after they saw it. Who knows how far into production on Max they were before they added it? And I'm sure the "Bros. Directing" had a lot of ideas down on paper before they actually started shooting The Matrix. And the Bros. got a lot of influence from movies like "The Iron Monkey" (the martial arts choreographer of that even worked on The Matrix). Even "completely original" ideas are heavily are necessarily influenced by what's been done before and are usually just permutations of that. Besides, who gives a hairy rat's @ss? It's a cool effect and "on the shoulders of giants" and all that. And, uh...oh, yeah. rrrrRRRRAARRGGHghhllleetimmAH!

Max Payne looks like he shat his trousers.

Can someone please make this game look good and interesting? Blech...

The faces on the characters all look like garbage. Oh well.

Didn't Max Payne play in that old 80's cop show 21 Jump Street with Richard Grieco? Or is that Richard Grieco on slim fast?
