Ubisoft has announced a motion-controlled fighting game exclusive to Kinect for the Xbox 360 - Fighters Uncaged.

"Fighters Uncaged delivers players an immersive total-body combat experience," explains the press release.

"Players will be able to create 70 different strikes inspired by martial arts and compete in 21 different fighting environments such as rooftops, dark alleys, gritty city docks and abandoned church."

The trailer gives a good estimation of what the game will look like in motion.

I'm concerned about the obvious delay between the player's motion and the response in-game by the character seen in the trailer. Kinect has some lag, but it looks like AMA Studios is interpreting the movements into in-game moves and not calculating hits based on a 1:1 representation of the player's body. This interpretation looks to add a bit more lag than is seen in the linked video.

This appears to be Microsoft's answer to the PlayStation Move title, The Fight: Lights Out. The competition is heating up between the two poorly named titles.
