Shatter Developer Working on New Music Game

1
On his blog, musician Module reveals that he has started work on the soundtrack for a second videogame collaboration with developer Sidhe. Their first joint effort resulted in Shatter, the soundtrack for which received several awards.

He describes the new game as "pretty massive" and notes he expects it to take over a year's worth of work again. "We will be pushing the audio experience and trying out lots of cool interactive music driven by game-play along with 5.1 mixes," he adds.

When contacted, a Sidhe spokesperson explained that they are several months away from announcing the new game. The only hint at what it will be like was "the music will be influenced by the gameplay but the music won't drive the gameplay." Not much to go on for now, but after the excellent combination of music and game in Shatter still plenty to be excited about.
