During Sony's media briefing at Gamescom 2010, Insomniac Games boss Ted Price revealed a new game in the Ratchet & Clank universe for Sony's home console.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One described on the Insomniac Games Twitter page as a "4-player online and same screen drop in drop out co-op" experience.

According to Joystiq, the action is reminiscent of Gauntlet, featuring characters from the Ratchet & Clank franchise exploring areas and pulling off milti-player co-operative moves during the action. Joining Ratchet and his little pal Clank in the adventure are classic franchise characters Captain Quark and Dr. Nefarious.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One marks the first title from Insomniac's newly opened North Carolina studio. According to a press release, the game will be featured during a live panel at PAX 2010.

      Oh ya...

Any word if they dumped the 60fps and went back to 30fps and are gona focus on high graphical quality for the game unlike the last game which was focused on super fast speed and gameplay and had a 60fps mandate?
