DICE Teasing Surprise at Gamescom 2010
by Brian Leahy, Aug 16, 2010 3:20pm PDTDICE is starting the hype machine for Gamescom 2010 by promising "something great" at the show this year. This doesn't narrow it down, but I like to hope that we'll be seeing the formal announcement of Battlefield 3.
The timing would makes sense as beta access for Battlefield 3 has already been announced as a pack-in bonus for the limited edition of Electronic Arts' Medal of Honor, though the project has not been officially announced.
It's also possible that it is related to the Medal of Honor multiplayer component or the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion. Everyone help out and think good thoughts about Battlefield 3 with me.

Oh and your original PC only battlefield game is now a console first game being ported to the PC. With features like terrible menu's, shitty server browser, no dedicated servers or admin tools worth a shit, and wait for it.... we have reduced the game from 64 player maps to now 32 max players!! What a deal.
