Ubisoft Announces Ghost Recon for Wii, Ghost Recon Predator for PSP
by Xav de Matos, Aug 16, 2010 2:20pm PDTNintendo Wii and Sony PSP owners looking for some tactical action are in luck as Ubisoft has announced new Ghost Recon titles for both platforms.
In Ghost Recon Predator, PSP owners will have 72 hours to prep for a U.S. lead invasion force enroute to Sri Lanka. The action follows the Ghosts after the uncover American forces are targeting the wrong enemy and must act quickly before "falsified intelligence lures America into an unpredictable and devastating war." Predator includes a "tactical experience," allowing players to head straight into a the action with superior firepower or use the jungles to sneak behind enemy forces. For those looking to strike at the heart of evil with friends, Ghost Recon Predator will feature three-player ad-hoc co-op.
For the Nintendo Wii debut of the Ghost Recon squad the story follows a stranded, two-man team of Ghosts who are forced to fight their way through 12 missions against an army of heavily armed adversaries.
According to Ubisoft, the experience has been built for co-op in mind, allowing two-players to take on the huge enemy army. Ghost Recon on Wii features a "Co-op Hot Join" feature, allowing players to "hop in and out of co-op at-will, with the AI taking over as needed."
Both Ghost Recon titles are due to strike retail in November 2010.
