Hunted: The Demon's Forge Gets Four Sets of Retailer-Specific Pre-Order Bonuses

Brace yourself, because yet another upcoming game is set to go the extremely irritating route of "retailer-specific pre-order bonuses." Today, Bethesda revealed four sets of in-game bonuses that will be offered for its upcoming inXile Entertainment-developed title, Hunted: The Demon's Forge, at retailers across North America.

Gamers who pre-order the title at GameStop and Best Buy will get their hands on "The Darkset" and "Griffin" content packs, respectively, which feature special weapons and armor for in-game characters.

Those who pre-order Hunted at from Amazon.com, Walmart, Direct2Drive or Steam will receive the "Demon" and "Assassin" packs, which feature content found in Hunted's customizable dungeon creator system. According to Bethesda, bonuses for European customers will be revealed soon.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge is coming to the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in Q1 2011.

The Darkset pack (GameStop)

Caddoc's Darkset Armor -- exclusive shoulder armor for Caddoc
Caddoc's Darkset Axe & Shield -- exclusive Darkset Axe and Shield used by Caddoc
E'lara's Darkset Armor -- exclusive magical artifact which improves E'lara's magical abilities
E'lara's Darkset Light Sword -- exclusive Darkset Light Sword used by E'lara's

The Griffin pack (Best Buy)

Caddoc's Griffin Bracer -- exclusive magical artifact which improves Caddoc's magical abilities
Caddoc's Griffin Maw Crossbow -- exclusive crossbow used by Caddoc
E'lara Griffin Hide Armor -- exclusive armor used by E'lara
E'lara's Griffin Claw Bow -- exclusive repeating bow used by E'lara

The Demon Pack (Amazon.com and Direct2Drive)

Demon Boss -- Demon boss unlocked in Crucible
Demon Level -- Demon boss level unlocked in Crucible
Annuvin -- Annunvin character skin unlocked after completing the campaign
Notch Axe -- Caddoc's notch axe unlocked

The Assassin Pack (Steam and Walmart)

Assassin Boss -- Assassin boss unlocked in Crucible
Assassin Level -- Assassin boss level unlocked in Crucible
Seriphine -- Seriphine character skin unlocked after completing the campaign
Assassin Bow -- E'lara's Assassin bow unlocked

Looking forward to this game looks great.

Damn it I wan the armor sets :( , still I am sure there will be shit loads of loot int he game so really no worries.

But the Deamon set, me wants it...
