Agreed. Everyone should watch Heist if they haven't seen it.

Loved that movie. He should have gotten an Oscar nom for it but Sony buried it.

Also is there a specific reason why the first sam got ill? was it because of moon flu? or because he was a clone (something to do with clones having a dramatically shorter life span)

my only complaint was I figured it out when the new sam rockwell woke up too early but otherwise yes, highly recommended.

no, grandmasterlee. I understood the story all too well so that I figured out how the story would end before it played out. I'm not slamming the movie at all - quite the contrary - I loved it.

I think he's saying that your complaint is irrelevant as it wasn't intended to be a surprise or twist in the plot

I like to think of the movie as a new perspective on blade runner - but this time from the replicant's POV, and the replicant's situation

Bladerunner is from the replicants POV as well

oh snap, I always forget that since it's really only relatively recently recently that this came out. I still have the theatrical version etched in my brain because I saw it release day back in 1982 (yes with the shitty voice-overs).

except that Deckard was a replicant, he just didn't know it for much more of his movie than Sam's character did in Moon!

no, Ridley Scott ended the debate a few years back before the "ultimate" blu-ray release and confirmed that deckard was a replicant
