PlayStation Store Discounts: Scott Pilgrim Added, PSN Plus Content Updated

In the first week of ongoing, fortnightly updates to the roster of PlayStation Plus content, non-subscribers get a good variety of new content on the PlayStation Store this week.

The festivities kick-off with the Canadian-born brawler, Scott Pilgrim in his video game debut. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is a timed-exclusive for PS3 users and is available for $9.99.

There are also multiple sales for non-Plus users, including 1942: Joint Strike for $4.99 (down from $9.99), Section 8 for $24.99 (down from $29.99) and a permanent drop for Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond to $9.99 (from $14.99).

Plus users can drab PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap exclusively until August 24, download a trial for Red Faction Guerrilla and enjoy additional deals on High Velocity Bowling, WipEout Fury DLC and the Uncharted Motion Comic, Eye of Indra.

Make sure your controller is set to #1 or Scott Pilgrim will give a cryptic no users error and keep you from playing.
