Since it was first announced, Ubisoft has been adamant that Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is a full-featured title, deserving of its own spin-off retail release. Today, Ubisoft continues to push that point, announcing a Collector's Edition of the upcoming title for a cool $100.

The Collector's Edition will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 alongside the standard edition on November 16, 2010. The oversized box includes:
  • Jack-in-the-Box Collectible ('Harlequin' character, pictured above, exclusive to GameStop, 'Doctor' character at all other retailers)
  • Two Exclusive In-Game Single Player Maps
  • Hard Copy Strategy Map of Rome
  • Exclusive Art Book
  • Bonus Disc: Exclusive Making-of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Video
  • Bonus Disc: Digital Sneak Peak at the Assassin's Creed Comic
  • Bonus Disc: Trailers
  • Bonus Disc: Game Soundtrack

Assassin's who pre-order Brotherhood at GameStop will also gain access to the upcoming multiplayer beta, which begins on September 13.

No mention of region was made during the announcement; however, Shacknews has contacted Ubisoft to clarify if the set will be available worldwide or only in specific countries.
