Shack PSA: Weekend Savings on Machinarium, RPGs, Gratuitous Space Battles and More

10
Weekends are, of course, for buying discount digitally-distributed PC games so we've rounded up the best bargains going, including a monster RPG sale at GamersGate that includes Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 for $15 apiece and Torchlight for $5.

Of particular note is indie developer Amanita's Machinarium 'Pirate Amnesty' which sees the adventure game reduced to $5 in the hope of guilting the estimated 85-95% of players who pirated the game into buying it. The splendid soundtrack's included too.

Gratuitous Space Battles is a very unique twist on the strategy genre. It can be a bit difficult and overwhelming at the beginning, but as you learn the mechanics I think you'll really enjoy it.

I loved making it harder and refining and tweaking my fleet until I won. Lots of fun progression in unlocking new ship parts, races, and hulls. I bought it for $20 and do not regret it. Absolute steal at $4.99.
