Civilization 5 PC System Requirements Revealed

A dual-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 256MB Nvidia 7900 GS or equivalent is the foundation of the PC system requirements for Sid Meier's Civilization V, unveiled by publisher 2K Games as the launch of Firaxis' strategy sequel draws ever closer.

Other Requirements: Initial installation requires one-time Internet connection for Steam authentication; software installations required (included with the game) include Steam Client, Microsoft Visual C++2008 Runtime Libraries and Microsoft DirectX.

      yeah, i play civ mostly on laptops... i dont think its GRR enough for this
