HardOCP has a new review of the Voodoo5 vs GeForce2 with the new retail 3dfx drivers. I've also got the new drivers at home so you can count on an updated benchmark suite within a few days of my return from E3.

    I think a truly weak spot of this review was the totally skewed graphs. If you were just flipping through the pages looking at the tables and not reading what was actually on them, they are VERY (EXTREMELY) misleading. And he's even AWARE of the problem (he mentions it in the review).

    Otherwise, I have to give props to 3dfx for taking a "previous generation" board and making it competitive with the current generation of graphics tech. The past is in the past, but just think if they wouldn't have missed their ship date, or even if there were only 3 or 4 months late instead of 6 or 7.
