God of War: Ghost of Sparta Coming November 2, Pre-Order Bonuses and Hardware Bundle Announced
by Xav de Matos, Aug 02, 2010 12:00pm PDTKratos' second, blood-soaked handheld adventure, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, is slashing its way on to U.S. store shelves on November 2. Developed by Ready at Dawn, the PSP-exclusive takes place during the time where Kratos still held the title as God of War.
Beginning today, fans who pre-order the title at participating retailers will gain access to the "ultimate DLC pack at launch," which includes PSP and PS3 Themes and Avatars, the game's soundtrack, an in-game "Legionnaire Skin" and a video roundtable featuring all of the creative directors throughout the life of the series discussing the franchise in front of a live audience.
For users contemplating the destruction of mythical creatures, but lack the proper tools, Sony is also bundling Ghost of Sparta with a red and black, two-tone PSP-3000. The bundle includes a copy of God of War: Ghost of Sparta, a download token for Ready at Dawn's God of War: Chains of Olympus, Kick-Ass on UMD and a 2GB Memory Stick Duo for $199. That's a lot of blood in one package, folks.

I know why they do this, but I wonder if they realize how transparent it makes even THEIR dislike of their own (supposedly) premier version of the handheld.
With the 3DS coming early next year and the PSP2 almost certain to follow before the end of next year, I think the PSP is overpriced. Yes, even the non-crippled one.
Bullshit...I regret getting a PSP Go simply because Sony seems to have abandonded it, this is especially lame because its a Sony published title.
