I'm snagging as many CDs as I can for you guys and sending up the images to the old website here. Thankfully that new ethernet card seems to have done the trick for speed on the server. If you have any boothbabe requests in particular feel free to share. I'll check the list out from the show and see what I can get. Ill even try and track down that new 16yr old hussie from Eidos. :) Maarten should be following up later this morning with the tons of stuff I missed. Email has been flakey at best on my laptop here. Apologies in advance to emails I miss or stuff I dont link.

well, ultra's precise and coherent argument has me convinced. can't you all see that he is so much smarter than you? the way he capitalizes all his sentences. the way that he calls people a 'fool' several times in each post. the way he uses big words that i have to look up. the way his hair blows in the cool mountain breeze. the glistening sweat on his naked chest.
imagine, being only 14 and knowing that much about everything. he's even written a virus (or q3 front end, i couldn't tell) and painted pictures. can you claim to have done that? i know i can't.
i hope that you all come to terms and realize that ultralazer's intellect and personality towers above all else. when i was 14, i didn't even know where 'p' was on the keyboard.
i love the witty way he switched the 's' with the 'z' in his name. much better than 'i am the baker'. (what a crappy name. it has spaces, and hasn't ever been thought of before. how lame.) and he's not just a lazer, he's an 'ultra' lazer. now that's a name!
i can't blame prower for loving him. i love him too, but only the kind of love that a man has for a fine wine.
i hope he posts more tomorrow, because i want to hear him call someone else a fool 46 times in the same post.

hey my homies, need some ideas here...
i got my wife a pair of diamond earrings for mother's day. she's flying out sunday afternoon (gone for 10 days). how should i present them to her on sunday before she leaves?
i was thinking of getting her a cd and putting it in a box with some paper stuffing under it, the putting the box with the earrings under the paper. pretty lame, huh? any better ideas?

My advice to the MPAA types is: Offer digital movies for download, for a price, before the void is once again filled with the illegal content people want and technology enables. Follow the RIAA's example and you will suffer.
Admit it, they'll go easier on you!
If any of you ever go into coding, and ESPECIALLY web programming, do the following:
1) Write a 2800 line program with no comments.
2) Don't use any of those fancy shmancy data structures like arrays or hashes. Why bother with foreach when 10 prints will do?
3) Make a script that does FOUR DAMN DIFFERENT THINGS, only based on what submit button was pushed. Why make the program easy to read by splitting it up into separate dedicated scripts?
4) Never make new functions. Just cut and paste code everywhere it's needed. It's for performance reasons, really.
5) Never use already made CGI and HTML modules. Reinvent the wheel every time, preferably several different ways in the same program.
Do all of the above. So when I hunt you down and stick my foot so far up your ass that you're having filet of sole for breakfast, I won't feel bad.

Cain was using that same card and he was having trouble with packet loss so he swapped it out for another brand and it fixed the packet loss issues.

I don't know about Intel anymore. Remember the i740? Cacheless Celerons. i820 blunders. i840 and Rambus. These NIC's going out on people.
Intel's loosing it. They'd better wake up, or they won't be around much longer. I think AMD could run 'em out of business if they really wanted too.

I get this error everytime a server I'm playing on changes maps:
"You are about to load a .DLL executable that has not been verified for use with Quake III Arena. This type of file can comprimise the security of your computer. Select 'OK' if you choose to load it anyway."
I hit 'OK' and it reconnects and loads the map... that is until the next game. I have the latest point release (1.17) but this happened with the last point release, also. I'm also suspicious of Arenaspy. I have the latest OpenGL drivers for my Voodoo II and Matrox G200. Anyone else had this problem? Its driving me nuts.
