It wasn't until a few months after I quit playing WoW that I realized how much better life was without it. I was able to enjoy tons of fantastic games that I previously ignored/didn't have time for due to arena and raid schedules, and no longer had to worry about committing blocks of time for in-game shit. It felt more like a job than entertainment towards the end, which is so fucking wrong.

She sounds nice... You could do many things with the time you spend on wow, but you are probably addicted like everyone else. Just another drug. How many hours/days does it say you have played on your oldest/ most played character?

ah right. is there anything you would love to spend your time doing instead of playing wow? like learn a language, watch certain films, read books, learn how to play an instrument etc? I have played wow and know how addictive it is. I would look at my play time and just realise I have wasted so much time which I could have spent developing my 'skills'.
