Lead and Gold 50% off on Steam for a Limited Time, Free Multiplayer Weekend Starts Sometime Today
by Xav de Matos, Jul 22, 2010 9:00am PDTBeginning later today and continuing throughout the weekend, PC users can mosey on down to the Steam saloon and play Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, for free. Pre-loading for Fatshark's western-themed shooter is currently available on Steam for the event, which will run until Sunday, July 25. Additionally, prospectors can purchase the full title on Steam for 50% off throughout the event, dropping the title to $7.49 (down from $14.99). In order to prep for the hail storm of gun-toting scoundrels, Fatshark is asking kindhearted users to set up dedicated servers for the wild weekend on the site's official forum. We know we'll be playing but mostly to see if rumors of an Al Swearengen easter egg are true. (Note: We just started that rumor now.)
