Flotilla Dev Blendo Releases Edutaining 'Air Forte'

Blendo Games, the fab indie maker of Flotilla and Gravity Bone, continues to branch out in unexpected directions, as evidenced by today's surprise release of Air Forte.

Describe as a "high-altitude game of math, vocabulary, and geography," Air Forte is an uncharacteristically educational affair which sees up to four players piloting a little plane to collect solutions to posed problems. Of course, all the usual Blendo charm and quirkiness is present. Try the demo in a Windows, Mac or Linux flavour.

The latest Blendo newsletter notes "we look forward to providing more cross-platformy goodness in the near future!" The developer's site says its zombie apocalypse title 'Atom Zombie Smasher,' is "Coming soon to PC and XBOX Live Indie Games."

The downloadable Air Forte is available now for PC, Mac and Linux direct from Blendo for $15, while the Xbox 360 edition is only 400 Microsoft Points ($5).
