3Hello again, Internet. I'm properly back from the Develop 2010 conference now. It was jolly nice. A lot was awfully interesting and I'll have more to share over the next few days. What day is today? Not sure. Probably doesn't matter. Lovely people, just lovely.
Now to see how quickly I can read 471 e-mails and skim several thousand RSS items.
Please respond with:
1. STEAM PROFILE: a link to your steam profile page ( like this: http://steamcommunity.com/id/highrez/ )
2. YOUR STEAM ID: ( like this: 0:1:2883 ) - HOW TO GET YOUR STEAM ID: Locate your steam directory on your hard drive, usually C:\Program Files\Steam -- find steam.log file and open it with notepad. Look for lines such as: Found existing connection 9,216.228.115.67:27030 for 0:0:8888. The last few numbers is your steam id, ie: 0:0:8888.
3. EAST or WEST: This will determine your match time. Matches will most likely be held at 8pm Pacific/Eastern (depending on division). (So if you are a West Coaster that wants to play at 5pm, you'd sign up for East; OR If you are a East Coaster who wants to play at 11pm, you'd sign up for West. Central/Mountain time, you are on your own!)
4. PREFERRED CLASSES: Please list your top 2 classes to play in TF2. This is necessary if we go the Highlander route (which is totally dependent on how many people sign up).
5. OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN: Do you like Gladiator Movies? Have you ever seen a grown man naked? have you ever been in a Turkish prison? Then you might be Penske Material! (We do need captains - Captains are responsible for 2 things: picking the team, and coordinating with me & the other captains. Captains are under no obligation to hold practices, scrimmages, water sports, or be JO buds. But they should try to show up every week for the match! )
