Lumi, a beautiful new puzzle-platformer from Kydos Studio (MyBand, Soul), hit the Xbox Live Indie Games channel yesterday.

The game takes your typical "platform-ula" of collecting things (fireflies, in this case), but also employs a unique magnetism-based gameplay mechanic that allows players to navigate each level using different colored hubs. For some more information, and light impressions, head on over to Shacknews' sister-site, Indie Games Channel, for a quick read.

Lumi is currently available as an Xbox Live Indie Games download for 400 Microsoft Points ($5), and a free demo is available there as well.

That looks pretty interesting. The art style alone is awesome and the gameplay reminds me of like a sonic the hedgehog game if he ate a magnet. I suppose I'll have to give the demo a shot.
