Kane & Lynch 2 Screenshots Celebrate Gun Fights

2
An Xbox 360 demo for Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is currently running with players experiencing a short section of the campaign and multiplayer action. The demo requires a code to access, which has limited the amount of players able to get a taste of the sequel.

Additionally, IO has revealed an interesting piece of data revolving around the game's Fragile Alliance multiplayer mode, in which crooks work together to pull off a heist before eventually turning on each other in a greedy attempt to get as much money as possible. Kane & Lynch 2 adds an undercover cop to the mix to spice the mode up.

More than 116,000 players were killed in the act of pulling-off a heist. More staggering is the fact that only 8,000 of those kills were made by undercover cops.

This means the vast majority of players share a common characteristic with gaming's two most notorious criminals - you're all a bloody bunch of untrustworthy crooks!

The game is due out on August 24 in the US (August 27 in Europe) for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Can anyone here who tried the Xbox360 demo comment whether the game is good or not? I'm interested in getting this for PC to play with my friends (for the multiplayer mostly) and wanted to know if the multiplayer component is really enjoyable to be played out with friends or not...

That nobody has replied I think illustrates the problem with limiting the demo to so few people.

I've played the game and didn't enjoy it. The rounds are very short (4 minutes) and you always end up being screwed over by some jerk that decides to betray the group. Also there aren't many maps so it gets boring very fast.
