by Xav de Matos, Jul 12, 2010 9:50am PDTGamers will have to wait a little longer to get back behind the wheel as Tanner, as Driver: San Francisco has been delayed.According to an estimated sales report from Ubisoft (via Kotaku), the upcoming Quantum Leap-inspired fifth installment in the Driver franchise will be parked in the Ubisoft Reflections development garage until the company's fourth quarter, which runs January to March 2011.
Driver: San Francisco was originally scheduled to release in November 2010. Ubisoft reportedly delayed the upcoming title due to the "competitive market at Christmas."
