Final Fantasy XIV PC Beta Phase Begins Saturday
by Xav de Matos, Jul 08, 2010 1:20pm PDTLast week, Square Enix revealed Final Fantasy XIV would hit stores in late-September but would not lock down a date for the anticipated PC beta test phase of the game. Earlier today, Square Enix revealed the test is scheduled to begin this weekend.
According to the official Final Fantasy XIV Twitter page (via Andriasang), the PC beta test is scheduled to begin on Saturday, July 10.
The closed beta will be made available to select testers on the official beta test site.
Final Fantasy XIV will be available at retail in two flavors: a regularly priced version and a premium "early access" special edition.
