Hulu: PlayStation Plus Only Required During Hulu Plus Preview Period
by Brian Leahy, Jul 06, 2010 2:40pm PDTHulu Plus, the paid service from the online television service, will only require a PlayStation Plus subscription during the service's preview period. After that, Hulu Plus will be available to all PlayStation Network members with a Hulu Plus account, contrary to a rumor that PlayStation Plus would be needed.
The clarification comes from a statement issued to Joystiq: "With the launch of Hulu Plus there have been many rumors started and we are trying our best to remedy the situation. Specifically to your question, the Playstation Plus service is only a requirement during the preview period."
Hulu Plus will cost $9.99 a month and offer expanded access to both current and old television shows on a computer or many other connected devices. PlayStation 3 support should launch this month with Xbox 360 support early next year.
