inFamous 2 is scheduled for release some time in 2011.

replycompared to the original, this doesn't look as dark or gritty. Cole seems tamed down as well. You can just tell by his body movements and sound of his voice. I don't know if I like it. He also looks different.....
Game engine and such is looking good.-
Surely having fewer 'dark' and 'gritty' elements is a plus when those two characteristics are typically handled incredibly poorly in video games? From what I've seen, the doom and gloom of inFamous was laughable--though I have not played it myself.

i really enjoyed the comic book approach and tongue in cheek grittiness of the 1st, and this new cole doesnt seem as appealing skin head, gravely voiced cole seemed way more hardcore, this new cole sounds like a hairdresser

You got all of those quite early in the game actually, didn't really see but one new power in that video from what I noticed.
