ahh crap, just got WD'd
Just beat Red Faction Guerrilla; took me 12 hours and 45 minutes. Fucking awesome game.
Difficulty level was above average for the first half, but got a lot easier in the second half, I think. Probably because I got really good with the hammer / nano rifle / rocket launcher combo. Once I leveled up the nano rifle and expanded the ammo, shit got out of hand. Two upgrades to the hammer and it was a rape fest. Swapped out the rocket launcher for that nuke launching thing and the rest was a cakewalk.
Last mission wasn't that hard! I died the first time because I tried to rush it (I had a fucking tank!, how was I to know that it'd take that much damage from running over all of those vehicles :( ), but the second time I snuck along, blowing up everything one at a time and made it right up to the last boss, who went down easier than Lindsay Lohan on a coke dealer. Nuke to the door, nuke to the tank, one nano rifle shot, game over. Awesome contrast to the bullshit cheap last boss fight of Red Faction 2, which was a perfect finale for the shit game that it was.
SOOOOOOOOOO glad I gave the game a chance. It was fucking. awesome.-

I'd do that sometimes, but normally my poorly aiming, controller using ass would have to use three shots to the main body of the vehicle to down it :(
Single shotting it, watching the fin dissolve, and then seeing the aircraft slowly roll and crash was so. fucking. awesome.
Fuck man, I loved Red Faction Guerrilla
